The family business, JP Group a/s was founded in 1976 by Martin Pedersen’s father: Johannes Pedersen - thus the abbreviation JP.
Originally Johannes Pedersen was a bus driver, but in 1965 he used all his spare time producing rubber mounts for cars, rubber hammers and ashtrays. This gave him the financial possibility to invest in tools and machines for the production of spare parts of his biggest interest: cars.
Johannes Pedersen died in 1992, 63 years old.
Since then JP Group a/s has grown to a well-established and strongly consolidated business with activities worldwide and premises with a total size of 35,000m2.
